The two illustrations above are of Superman, the artist Jose Luis Gargia-Lopez and the late Christopher Reeve.

Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez was illustrator largely responsible for the popular 'House Style' at DC Comics that would influence a generation of comics and comic book merchandising.
